About Victoria Park
Situated in Somerset West, in the heart of The Helderberg basin, was established in 1995. Victoria Park is surrounded by picturesque mountains and the ocean.
A stone’s throw away from Strand Golf Club and the ever popular Somerset Mall. With quick access to the N2 and the R44, which allows instant access to our beautiful neighbouring towns such as
Strand; Gordon’s Bay; Stellenbosch; Kleinmond; Paarl; Sir Lowry’s Pass and The Overberg.
Victoria Park Neighbourhood Watch
VPNHW is a group of patrollers who regularly do neighbourhood patrols during the day and, also at night. Creating visibility and working hand in hand with SAPS by being an extra set of eyes and ears, reporting suspicious behaviour. It is certainly not uncommon to see these dedicated men and women on patrol at 4am before leaving for work at 6am.
The Neighbourhood Watch also created a platform for the residents to stay in contact with one another through various communication channels.
We are proudly accredited by the Department of Police Oversight and Community Safety. We are aimed at maintaining the close-knit community we have always strived to become. We love seeing our kids, still, playing in the parks inside Victoria Park; we love seeing our neighbours, still, greeting each other on a daily basis and it is not uncommon to see two neighbours having a lengthy conversation whilst watering their grass in the evening.
In closing, we are one big family that looks out for one another.
THE CIRCLES AROUND THE KIEWIET REPRESENT THE COMMUNITYAND RESIDENTS THAT WE SERVE AND WHO PLAY AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN THE COMMUNITY SAFETY BY BEING VIGILANT AND INFORMING US OF ANY SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY.

THE WINGS FLANKING OUR COMMUNITY AND NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH REPRESENT ALL THE LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES AND SECURITY COMPANIES THAT WE WORK HAND IN HAND WITH. THEY PROVIDE BACKUP, SAFETY, AND MENTORSHIP WHEN WE NEED IT THE MOST.
THESE ELEMENTS COMBINED MAKE US A STRONG, CLOSE-KNIT COMMUNITY. FILLED WITH PEOPLE WHO LOOKOUT FOR EACH OTHER. TOGETHER WE CAN RISE AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
